Luscious days are ahead. Venus, goddess of love, beauty, and pleasure floats into the sea of Pisces on January 26th at 8:33 PM CST. Venus exalts in Pisces meaning she is doted upon as the guest of honor on her Piscean throne. Until February 20th the Venusian aspects of life flow effortlessly. Revel in the pleasures and sweetness that make life so worth living.
As mutable water, Pisces season, in the northern hemisphere, is the thawing of winter leading to the spring equinox. There’s hope in knowing spring renewal and growth are ahead. The water element represents our emotions, our intuition, our capacity to love and care. As vast and deep as the ocean itself, Pisces is boundaryless feeling deeply and tapping into empathy, creativity, and intuition with ease.
Pisces is the final sign of the Zodiac and symbolizes completion and integration. Each of the twelve Zodiac teach us a lesson, and Pisces lifts the veil revealing the oneness of the universe. We are interconnected beings tethered to one another, the Earth, and the cosmos. Venus exalted in her Piscean home amplifies the collective’s ability to emotionally connect, empathize, and channel vast feelings into breathtaking creations.
It can be difficult to open ourselves to Venusian pleasures when the world is steeped in suffering. However, the antidote for violence and fear is love and care. We all deserve to experience pleasure, to love, and be loved. Venus in Pisces encourages us to honor our sacred emotional bonds. Drop into your heart space and tap into the eternal flame of love you hold within. Pour this love out to the world through creation, self-expression, and connecting with those you hold dearest to your heart. Soak up every moment of these luscious days and know you are worthy of pleasure, love, and belonging.
Venus in Pisces Horoscopes
Venusian energy is effortless, and sometimes writing horoscopes creates friction for me. To honor the flowing creativity of Venus in Pisces and my natal Gemini Moon’s need for variety, today’s horoscopes are spoken. Please enjoy.
Venus in Pisces Recommendations
Sinking into Venusian ways of being means indulging our senses with soulful music, heart-centered books and movies, and more. Here is my Venus in Pisces Spotify playlist which I’ll be adding to throughout the transit. One of my favorite singers is Jazmine Sullivan, and I recently learned she is a Venus in Pisces native! Her vocals and artistry are goddess-like. I highly recommend giving her a listen!
Today I’m starting All About Love by Bell Hooks. This book has been sitting on my shelf for months, and Venus in Pisces feels like the perfect time to immerse myself in Bell Hooks’ profound wisdom. Once I make it through All About Love, on deck is Difficult Women by Roxane Gay.
I recently watched the best documentary I’ve ever seen called The Feminist on Cellblock Y. This work of art is perfect for Venus in Pisces because it gives an inside look at incarcerated men doing the inner work of dismantling their internalized Patriarchy. Together through honesty, vulnerability, and community they strive to transform their lives by moving towards right relationship with women and femmes. It’s a powerful example of how we can dismantle the Patriarchy from within.
