This newsletter intentionally arrived in your inbox on the Sun’s day during the Sun’s hour. Did you know the planets have their days of the week? Sunday is the Sun’s day, Monday is the Moon’s day, Tuesday is Mars’ day, Wednesday is Mercury’s day, Thursday is Jupiter’s day, Friday is Venus’ day, and Saturday is Saturn’s day.
The Sun’s day and hour are auspicious for the news I want to share. I’m doing something I’ve wanted to do for years: co-hosting a podcast with my friends Aryn Scanlon and Danielle Renee. Our podcast, Sol Connections, is about the experiences and relationships that light us up. This includes our relationships with celestial, human, and more-than-human beings. We are soft-launching our conversations on YouTube as we get a feel for the podcasting process. Once we fine-tune, we’ll launch on major podcasting platforms.
Sol Connections features two segments: Astro Church and interviews with special guests. Astro Church is a space to gather and reflect upon the intersections of astrology, tarot, and politics. In our first episode, we venture into the depths of Scorpio season, exploring the Mars-Pluto opposition, Pluto’s transition from Capricorn to Aquarius, the U.S.’s natal chart, and more. I hope you enjoy!
I’d love to hear your feedback. What came up for you while listening to Astro Church? What topics would you like us to explore? Who do you want to hear interviewed?
Thanks for listening!
In darkness & sunlight, Emily
